####Eboracum Trial####
We have just been notified that the Eboracum Trial due to run on Saturday 20/9/08 has been cancelled due to wet conditions.

Summer Series Trial 19/7/08
Due to heavy rain just before the start of our last Summer Series trial on Saturday 19th July we had to cancel the event because riders vehicles could not get into the parking area.
This is a very sensitive area and one of the stipulations of running in this location is that there is no parking on grass Verge's. If we had gone ahead it would have jeopardized our very successful Dales Trophy Charity Trial which is run in this area.
The club wish to apologize to all who turned up to support us but felt we had no alternative as there was no other field available for parking.
The club will decide what course of action to take over the awards for the Summer Series and will post their deliberations on this web site as soon as possible.

!!!!!!!! UP DATE !!!!!!!!
At the committee meeting on Thursday 7/8/08 it was decided to attempt to re-run this Trial on Saturday 30th August starting at 1700hrs. There will be a different field for parking and lets hope it keeps fair. The format will probably be 2 laps of 12 sections not 3 laps of 10 sections. Anyone who can bring an Observer it will be greatly appreciated.

Driving to Trials
Please remember when driving to and from a Trial that most of our land is accessed by narrow country roads and not every body on these roads are motorcyclists travelling to or from our Trial. Our land owners and farmers use these roads so please drive with caution and courtesy. Although these are public roads any incidents reflect on our club.

Summer Series.
The Summer Series is now in full swing and going along fine.
Did you know that there will be a Burger van at all our Trials where you can purchase Burgers/Chips/Bacon Butty`s/Soft Drinks etc. Very Nice.

ACU AFFILIATION/LICENSES
It has become apparent through checking of licences at other clubs that a great many riders are riding without licences.Licences will be checked at forth coming G&DMCCLtd events and any one not able to produce a licence will be given a form to sign which will be sent to ACU Rugby .It will be £10 taken on the day. If you have not got a licence and do not sign the form and pay your £10 you will not be allowed to ride.Insurance that is paid by you the rider as part of your entry fee will be null and void if you are not a paid up member of the ACU.This measure is taken to safe guard both you and the club officials.Forms can be obtained from me or down loaded from the acu web site.

!!!!!!!!!!!! Trials Entry Fees !!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!! At a meeting of the Trials Committee at Thirsk on 5th FEB 2008 it was agreed by ALL clubs that the Entry fee for all East Yorks Centre Trials will be a minimum of £12 with immediate effect.
PLEASE TRY AND BRING THE CORRECT AMOUNT.
CHEQUES WILL BE ACCEPTED AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT MADE OF RUBBER.

Youths on 125cc machines
As from January 1st 2007 no youth under sixteen can ride a machine over 125cc as per ACU rules.
Any youth under sixteen wanting to ride in any of our Trials will not be able to enter on a machine over 125cc as he/she will not be insured. This is to safeguard both the youths and the club.
