END OF SUMMER SERIES BBQ
There will not be the usual BBQ at the last round of the Summer Series as it would be in an open field and the weather would play a large part in its success. However before you all start shouting as we know you all enjoy the BBQ Ann & John Watson have kindley offered their premises at Didderhowe Farm Castleton for a BBQ and Pushbike Trial along with Target Football/Target Golf etc on 8th August commencing at 5pm . All observers & riders & wives & girlfriends & families are invited so come along and enjoy yourselves.

Charltons Practice Area
There is a rumour going around that we G&DMCCLtd have been told that our Practice Area is to close.
THERE IS NO TRUTH IN THIS RUMOUR.
We as a club will always seek to keep this facility open for you our members and you can all play your part by sticking to the rules and riding courteously at all times whilst using the Practice Area. The National Parks have fenced off a small area inside the Practice Area and this is a NO GO AREA. Please keep out of this area at all times and try not to ride in the vicinity of the fenced off area as much as possible.We the committee look forward to your cooperation and many more years of use of the Practice Area.

Awards Presentation Evening
A date for your Diaries Friday 27th November 2009 is our Awards Presentation Evening.
This year it will be at a new venue Pinchinthorpe Hall.
The format will be as usual ie Carvery and Raffle and Picture Quiz.
This will be in larger premises so when you recieve your award letter later in the year get them back to Elaine asap, so she will know how many are going to collect awards and how many extra tickets she will be able to sell.We hope this will be a great success with everyone in the same room.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRACTICE AREA WILL BE CLOSED THE SUNDAY BEFORE BOXING DAY TO ALLOW US TO SET UP THE BOXING DAY TRIAL.

AS MENTIONED IN OUR CHRISTMAS NEWS LETTER PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PUT ENOUGH POSTAGE ON YOUR ENVELOPE AS I WILL NOT BE COLLECTING LETTERS FROM THE SORTING OFFICE THAT HAVE NOT ENOUGH POSTAGE ON THEM.ALSO MAKE SURE YOU RETURN YOUR OLD KEY.

Trials Bikes Security
Cleveland police have been in touch with this club about a scheme for off road bikes to help them to be returned to the owner should they be stolen and recovered.

Driving to Trials
Please remember when driving to and from a Trial that most of our land is accessed by narrow country roads and not every body on these roads are motorcyclists travelling to or from our Trial. Our land owners and farmers use these roads so please drive with caution and courtesy. Although these are public roads any incidents reflect on our club.

Youths on 125cc machines
As from January 1st 2007 no youth under sixteen can ride a machine over 125cc as per ACU rules.
Any youth under sixteen wanting to ride in any of our Trials will not be able to enter on a machine over 125cc as he/she will not be insured. This is to safeguard both the youths and the club.
